It's better to take it, it's for our customs, so that there are no unnecessary questions.

A foreign passport is enough, but if there are different surnames (like ours ), then Russian border guards ask for a birth certificate necessarily! Either a Russian passport where the child is entered, Thai border guards do not care, even if they have different, even the same surnames, a foreign passport is enough for them.
