why is Bangkok Koh Samui worth 19t round trip and 4500 to Surat Thani?

Because Bangkok Airways is the owner of Samui Airport.

Because low-cost airlines fly to Surat, but not to Koh Samui) But it takes another 4 hours to get from Surat Thani Airport to Koh Samui (and if you arrive in the evening, the nearest ferry will only be in the morning)
