Fins can definitely be rented, masks and tubes too, but if you often snort, it's better to have your own. Rented masks are all ruined - dechman, scratched and often leak. I picked up mine once and I'm free. Well, a tube is generally like a toothbrush — you can save a little by taking a used one, but it's nicer to have your own.
