Please tell me I'm flying to Bangkok with 23kg of luggage, now I'm going to buy a Bangkok - Koh Samui ticket (20 kg is allowed there, it seems)

Take out up to 20kg and take it by hand. And so they will make you pay. In advance, 5kg is worth buying 600 baht, at the airport the preponderance will be more expensive.

Pay extra. You can do this yourself at the check-in counters. Accept cards.

Depending on what kind of company you can buy, but like 30kg for 1 suitcase is the limit, they also hang a heavy mark.

They are loyal (they flew with 22-24 kg of luggage themselves), but here it must be understood that this depends on the type of board and on the load. From BKK to Koh Samui, cornhuskers and normal boards fly (they differ in flight time, the cornhusker flies for about an hour and a half, and the normal board is 1-1.10). If you have a ticket for a cornfield and it will be packed to the eyeballs, they can get to the edge, but 2-3 kilos on a normal board will most likely close their eyes. By time, lay down 3 hours (from the moment of landing of the BCC to departure to Koh Samui)
