There was the same situation, I called the BA office at Moscow Time, they moved the tickets to a later time for an additional payment, they sent the bill to the post office, I paid 3k + for 4 tickets.

From practice, we missed the flight... it was in 2011 or 2012, I don't remember. Rebooked without any problems, but at a later time. I had to cook in Suvarnabhumi for 7 hours.
