Bangkok Air, often goes to meet you if you are late due to a flight delay and rebooks for the next ones, subject to availability... if anything, there are plenty of hotels near the airport.

If the plane is from Moscow, it can easily catch up with time on the way. We had a departure delay of 3 hours, and on arrival the delay was about one and a half. Another time the departure delay was an hour and a half, but we arrived on time. If there are seats on the BKK - Koh Samui plane, then being late for your flight is not a problem, they will put you on the flight where there will be seats, no problem. So we also had it once. So there's nothing to worry about.

Air Asia and Bangkok Airways in Bangkok at different airports at different ends of the city. But Air Asia does not fly to Koh Samui.

Bangkokair can be put on the next plane if there are empty seats, they were late too, they changed their ticket without extra charge.
