Can you tell me, I'm trying to understand the difference between debit and credit cards from Thai banks. Why (is it true?) bkk bank debit cards are not accepted abroad? Why are credit cards not really credit cards at all?

The Bangkok Bank debit Card is the simplest, issued on a tour visa is accepted in Turkey and France. Personally verified.

Debit BKK bank is perfectly accepted abroad, if in principle the International payment is included (you can check by paying online)

They won't open everywhere, especially if you don't have a long visa. With a stamp only Bangkok Bank.
