Has anyone in Bangkok managed to bypass an appointment at the embassy to get an affidavit? We don't have an appointment for a month, but the card is pretty urgent. In the sense of coming up off the record and getting one.

About a month ago, I just came in the morning and filed on a first-come, first-served basis, and got it an hour later.

I signed up in advance. I just got it today. The woman told me directly and insistently that she wouldn't take any appointments. At most she could make an appointment today. There's a big influx, they're human too.
