Is there a short-term bike rental in Bangkok with delivery and return when they come to you and not you drive yourself to the base?

Yes, from one month's rent free delivery. A separate hell is the busy sections of Sukhumvit and other dense roads with pedestrian traffic and exits. Because all the time coming out of the hotels and Kondo and sometimes the guard is waving like stop, sometimes no one is waving and just a car pulls out without letting you through on the bike ... and if you're riding in the left lane then you need to either brake sharply or rearrange quickly. Or don't ride on the left, but you'll have to maneuver between the cars on the right all the time... In general, everything is tougher here. But in general, the drivers are polite, often yield to the concept"
