You need a housing contract to confirm the address and most likely an affidavit from the embassy (costs 300 baht, the embassy is there on Silom next to the main branch of Bangkok Bank, but they issue there by appointment) Come early (they work until 4 pm) to the bank and politely but confidently explain how you need an account. And they will open it for you... Initially, you will only open a savings account (current only in half a year is possible), but in fact this is enough for everything. Do not forget to connect the online bank and promtpey (for incoming payments by phone number). Card (Mastercard) will be issued right there, but not named, if you want the name then order separately and wait. You can open several accounts (for example, I keep one for storage / transfers without connection to the card and the second, connected to the card), for each new account will also take 500, but they will be on the account, you can use them.
