On Airbnb, payment is only by cards, in particular in case the tenant damages the apartment - then you can collect from the card. You can try to write to the hosts directly and offer to negotiate outside of Airbnb, just keep in mind that this is fraught with a ban on your account and the owner's account. Somewhere on the islands, you can really search for a villa with airbnb on Google maps and find a direct contact of the owner there, but Bangkok apartments are so looking for a dead number. There are many hotels in Bangkok now offering monthly and weekly options, there are condo-style hotels with kitchens and washing machines. Of course, you can pay the hotel in cash. You can also find apartments with monthly payment on renthub or just walk around the area, look for signs of serviced apartments, they are usually rented on a weekly basis.

Some Airbnb villas are on Googlemap. I so contacted the host directly and the price comes out 4-5k baht cheaper)
