who has been to Ko Chang Island? Do ferries/steamships/etc. go from there to there? To Bangkok.

You can book a transfer and they will pick you up from where you need to go and take you wherever you need to go (Bangkok-ferry-Chang). Or you can take a basik to Trat and then take a ferry to Chang. Well, and back the same way.

Yes, ferries are now every 15-20 minutes during daylight hours.
