It all depends on your visa, if you have non-a, non-b and non-o, then for the entire duration of the visa visa. They will reject the Russian ones due to the fact that it says coverage for 30-90 days. You can try insurance from sberbank premier. It's for a year, but it's really valid for the first 3 months after you leave Russia.
