I was personally told at the border that you can travel without a visa for up to 6 months. But it is better to have cash with you every time 20-30 thousand housing reservations, so that they can see that you are not idle. The first few times they won't ask anything, then they will start to be interested.

You can do two boarder wounds by land, up to six by air. But they won't tell you that anywhere in the official sources, I think.
