Hello. Has anyone ever flown to Bangkok with a guitar? Specifically , with an electric guitar . Can I take my hand luggage with me?. Thank you in advance.

It depends on the airline, I was once told in Belavia, for example, that they would let me in with a panduri only because they were kind, and so, like, you need to apply for the transportation of a musical instrument, Although the panduri is a little more than a ukulele.

Flying a Strat in a soft case a couple of times with no issues. Now with a little Martin 3/4 in a manual.

Only strandberg guitars and analogs, the same headless ones, pass through hand luggage.
