You can rent, but there are chances to run into patrols and get a fine. It's worth going on an excursion to Bangkok, Nong Nooch Garden, Khao kheo zoo, Kwai River, Cambodia. By ourselves to the temple of truth, mini Siam. It's also easier to go to the islands by yourself.
