Open the website of your embassy in Thailand there, read what documents are needed for entry. As for privileges and assistance in Pattaya, there is no. In Phuket, they organized housing and food assistance in the spring. Moreover, there are significant restrictions with work for foreigners here. Phuket is livelier now, perhaps it's better with work there, but again, for the first time you should have savings with you. I knew a Ukrainian family, hung out here for a month and went to Europe. So, there are no special conditions here, as, for example, in Europe for Ukrainians.
