where is better to settle in Phuket or Pattaya? Is there a difference in coverage and internet speed? How infrastructural/housing costs are different?

The mainland and the island. Different climate. Even the attitude towards tourists is different. Imho Pattaya is for life, Phuket is for tourism, to summarize. But there are always nuances everywhere, of course. Prices +/- similar. The Internet is always better on the mainland, this is an axiom in any country.
