Is it cheaper and easier to get a tourist visa (60+30) than a study visa? Can I go to Cambodia, Laos or Malaysia?

And there won't be, like, a group deployed on the boarder-rail and told to take airfare? Can't that also happen in Laos, when you enter back?

It's easier to just be 45 then Cambodia for a day out or an excursion at once and another 45 will do.
