We also took an excursion, it's easier this way, we are still with children, there is no car. The zoo is very cool, we go there every year.

We've been to the zoo three times. We like it better with a guide. Before the pandemic, the zoo had a guide named Bai. Awesome! Very much loves the Russian language. Learns it. At each animal will tell you what to feed. Tells a little bit about the peculiarities of the animals. With howler monkeys, he would not let anyone feed them unless they asked for it. For 5 minutes he shouted at them, making sounds. And then the monkeys, began to make these sounds in response. You've earned it, now feed it. There was no hurry. We really enjoyed it with this particular guide. He is a zoo employee himself. It wasn't cheaper on our own.

It's better to rent a small car on the territory, and you are your own boss. I can't remember the price. Looked at the tour group, there is a madhouse, on the bus, everywhere crowd. Fruit for the animals buy in advance, they are more expensive on the territory. There is a cafe, there are just tables with benches on the territory, you can take your own food and have a picnic.
