Transit through Delhi, do I need a visa or not? Very contradictory information on the Internet, please answer those who actually flew and know.

My husband flew in transit only with hand luggage by different airlines. Between flights 4-5 hours Asked all visa, tickets, suvidhu. The visa was. Was not allowed in transit. Went out and came back in. Also was questioned a girl without a visa in front of him, her luggage was flying in transit, and she was asked for a visa.

I've heard something else about the fact that there should be one airline company, but I don't think it's more about transit zones.

If the airport of transfer is Inrigo Gandhi visa is not needed, others google the airport itself, not all have a transit zone, if there is no zone, you need, aikos electronica and lighters are better left at home.
