Why does everyone want to live on a high floor in Pattaya? What's the difference? Just the beautiful view, or is there something more important?

I once lived on the 1st floor in Laguna, the insects were immense! Bugs, cockroaches, ants! Maybe not everywhere of course, but I'll never take the first one again!!!

The critters seem to run in more often on the first floors, plus perhaps a high balcony(view, stealth)
