Can someone please tell me about the course. the foreign passport ends in November NEXT year. a student visa will be issued soon.

While you are making a new passport, the old one remains with you. If you are making a ten - year passport , it may be in addition to the existing one . If it is five years old , then the current one is canceled at the time of issue . Nevertheless , a special letter is given to the new passport ( no matter if it is in return or in addition ) . With this letter and two passports, you go to immigration and rearrange the visa from the old passport to the new one.

As a citizen of the Russian Federation, you have the right to make a second passport without canceling the first one.
