I recommend Ko Samet. Close enough to Pattaya, you can take a cab to the pier and from there to the island, nothing complicated and not very expensive. The place for a rest for 2-3 days is ideal, the beaches are excellent, there is a place to eat and spend the evening in a cafe by the sea. The choice of accommodation for every pocket, you can and expensive-rich, you can and cozy budget. Sea and beaches are common anyway)))).
