I'm flying to Thailand for the first time and the question is: will they let me into Thai without insurance?

They don't ask for insurance at all, but you won't have it in effect if you have to go to an insurance claim.

Fly safely, no one's gonna get steamed up for a day. I doubt they'll check it at all.
