Can you please tell me if the water from the machine is safe to drink or if it is for boiling?

Here some heroes say that they drink directly from the tap, they don't even boil. And the water from the vending machine is just tap water that has been filtered. I wouldn't drink it without boiling it.

We've been drinking for about half a month, seems okay, but tastes better of course from seven.
