Tell me, is it difficult/easy to get a local driver's license in Phuket? Where to run to? Then in international driver's license can be converted somehow?

At the DLT you either sign up yourself and just pass, or through the school, it will be a little faster. They will give you a temporary for 2 years. Then it can be exchanged for 5 years, but with a long NON-x visa.

Simple, but long. In 2 years, under a number of circumstances, you can convert to international.
