What license is needed in Thailand? Thailand, like Russia, is a signatory to the Vienna Convention on Road Traffic, one of the provisions of which is the recognition of the driving license of countries party to the convention. The Russian license category " A " with subparagraphs (when driving a motorcycle) and " B " (when driving a car) is quite satisfactory to the police.
