I will share my experience! We bought separate tickets, separate hotel. Not by the tour, because there were no suitable options for us by the tour. But in the end, we were refused by the hotel that we wanted, we went to armor the second one, and with difficulty booked. This is 5* on the Caron. I booked a minivan transfer there and back in advance. It turned out to be more expensive of course than if I called a taxi on the spot, but I will be with a small child and a lot of luggage, so it's important to me that everything is already ready, as they say. Moreover, I will arrive only at 21: 00 Thai time. At the expense of the hotel, from the tour operator (and I booked through him, there is no foreign card), I realized that now many 4-5 * are super clogged. If you go to 3 *, you will easily find a place, I think. We got a little nervous with the hotel. Initially, if you book everything much in advance and not 2 weeks in advance like us, and the prices for vouchers will be adequate and there will be places. But if you get stuck in, it may happen that it will be a little stressful with tickets, I'm talking about direct flights from Aeroflot, for example. There are a lot of transfer options. We needed straight lines. As a result, everything turned out to be not super cheap, tk and a 5* hotel and tickets were bought separately. And so on a ticket to 3 * for 2 weeks it was possible to fly for 250-300k (2 adults + 1 child 3 degrees) - I'm telling you my prices that I was voiced. So it depends on how much you go, in what composition and whether you need comfort.
