Can you tell me which mangoes are better to take with you from Phuket: ripe or unripe? Will the unripe ones ripen?

You tell the vendor what you have with you and they will choose for you. The yellow mango varieties reach and wither faster than the green ones, but the latter don't taste as sweet and luscious.

Say when buying how many days you need, the Thais will give in so many days and ripen.
