I know that you need an international license to drive a bike in Thailand. Does everyone who rides them here really have them? Or do many take it at their own risk that I can stop them and fine them?

I paid 1,000 baht the other day. I advise to take a bike if you need to ride within the same area. The raids are usually on the gaps, which can not be bypassed (the passage from one beach to another) cops bribe takers and easily agree to agree on the spot if you are not rude. The process is such he gives you read" the international rights you put money in them
