Please tell me, we bought a product in Thailand, flew to Malaysia for a few days. We came back and want to return the VAT. They say that we should have returned it during the 1st flight out of the country. What can be done in this situation?

If they don't look at the date of the check and the date of your previous stamp, then maybe they will, or say they didn't know. But, as a rule, they only look at the date of purchase. No more than 60 days should pass between it and departure.
