everyone who rents a car, takes extra money for leaving the car from the island? We want to go to Koh Samui for 4 days. Surcharge for departure 2-3 thousand baht.

Taxi to Koh Samui about 3 thousand. (to the ferry) On Rentalkars you can take a car in Phuket and take it to Koh Samui.

We went to the mainland, but not to Koh Samui, there were no additional payments. Probably because you want to cross to another island....
