I heard a bell that a branch of Bankok bank opens, but I can't vouch for reliability.

I) recently opened on a pangana in the bank krungsri on a student visa . But as it turned out, it is easy to open a covid visa in this bank on a pangan. In Phuket, I was denied this bank. But I was current in 1 yellow can. In the bank Bangkok bank - you with any visa will open without problems for 5800 baht. In Phuket for sure! I recommended going to different krungsri banks, different places have different rules.

Krungsri.. but you need either a long visa or a lease agreement preferably for a year.

In all you can have a certificate of residence, but you need the bank branch to work with foreign currency accounts - as a rule, these branches are in the center of Phuket City. They may be asked to buy insurance as a condition for opening an account.
