There are ATMs almost everywhere – every 7/11 or FamilyMart definitely has one or two. We recommend not to shove the card into ATMs located in popular tourist places - reports about the next caught gang of carders regularly slip through the news. Resort island, where to go. Cash withdrawal limits (per transaction): Krungsri Bank (yellow) – 30.000฿ Other banks – 20.000฿ Only Thai baht can be withdrawn from an ATM. OTHER currencies are not issued by ATMs. If you need to withdraw more at a time, you need to contact a bank branch. In any smaller or less large shopping center there are branches of at least two banks.
