With children in April, what beach do you recommend - so that the GARDENS were calmer than Bang Tao or Rawai???

Kata. Kata Noah. Better Bang Tao for kids. The waves are smaller, shallow. On the BT there are places where a few meters from the shore there is already depth, the waves are higher, it pulls very strongly at low tide.

Rawai is an unbuilt beach. And naiharn - the closest - is the most exciting". Bang Tao is a great option."
