Can I check in for an international flight at the airport, go through security, but not get on the plane and get back to Thailand?

Of course you can! According to the security protocol, all luggage will be unloaded, all passengers and crew will be driven to another inspection. Depending on the type of aircraft, the delay will be from 2-4 hours. All the above activities are at your expense.

If you did not go to passport control, you can always go back.
