I repaired on the patong for 3k - polished 1 part, changed 2 mirrors and 1 plastic.

Here the plastic is not polished much - it is cheaper to put a new one, which I recommend to you, because even if you polish" it and paint it an experienced landlord will see it - and take a penny for it."

If it is nothilo then you may have to take a new plastic. I'd go to a yamaha/honda and count there. It should be inexpensive.
