In Bangkok, Grab and Uber work well. On the island, they do not want to take orders for a taximeter. Prices here of course for taxis are cheerful. An average of 1000 are asked to the airport from the same Kathu. I think you can find out about the minibus that gathers everyone in hotels.

Can screw up. Thais are not always responsible. I would negotiate with Russian-speaking services - the price is about the same, but at least you can get lost, if anything.

I ordered per day. The driver was found, but in the morning he woke up - the order disappeared, they write that it was canceled. I don't advise you to rely on them. Then I found the driver, but the fare was more expensive.
