Tap /bandage - protect against additional infection, leave open - heal faster. So decide which is more important.

If I went somewhere on a bike, then it is better to tape it, I came home, peeled it off, processed it and left it open to dry, I did it.

I do not seal, so it dries faster. under the band-aid it will be prettier.
