Since the islands of Koh Phangan and Koh Samui are located on the other side of the continent, in the Gulf of Thailand, you can reach them from Phuket by sea directly only through Singapore. Therefore, there are two options - fly to Koh Samui and sail to Koh Phangan by ferry or boat, or get to Don Sak Pier by bus and sail by ferry. Well, or on a bike to the pier, also an option in principle. 1. More expensive and faster - by plane + ferry / boat. 2. Cheaper and slower - by bus + ferry / boat. Buses to Donsak Pier depart from Bus Terminal 2 in Phuket Town. Bus and ferry tickets together can be bought online and in tents with excursions anywhere on the island. You can cooperate and take a taxi to the pier, but it is costly. The journey with the bus+ferry option takes from 8 hours of time.
