The guide also said probably not to take a bike And on excursions not to go yourself. If you are not going to break the bike or are ready to cover the damage, the passport is not terrible. I always left. The hotel often gives without a passport and a deposit, if there are rights and you live there. Or bargain with your passport for $100 bail.
