Tell me, please, it is more profitable to open an account in baht, buy baht and make the account the main one for the card or will there be no special difference with the conversion (if the account remains associated with the Ruble account)?

If we are not talking about a long term - then you can not mess with the baht account. If you plan to use it for a long time, it is better to open an account. There are some guarantees and independence from the ruble exchange rate.

If we are talking about a Tinkoff card, then it is normal to open an account on it in baht, transfer rubles to them somewhere at 16.00-17.00 Moscow time, usually at this time the most favorable rate. Attach the card to this account and pay. I will explain why, if it is calculated from a ruble account, conversion occurs, and if the calculation is outside working hours, before 10.00 in Moscow or after 19.00 in Moscow, then the rate is very unprofitable. It's the same on holiday weekends.
