where in Phuket teas are inexpensive and real can be bought? And then I don't trust the packaged labels.

Nowhere. There is no tea in Phuket. In the Chiang Mai area, something similar to tea is found. And so in Thailand, tea is not common. At least in the form in which it is accustomed in Europe.
