We plan to go to the Big Buddha and on the way to go to the elephant farm in order to feed the elephants (not to ride).

As the ascent to the Buddha begins - look around. Along the roads there will be a couple of farms - elephants can be seen directly from the road. Stop and feed the elephants. Somewhere closer to the top there is usually a café near which a young baby elephant stands. It's also a good place to stay there to feed and take pictures.
