Right by the beach, in the southern part of it, is an excellent restaurant Mamma Mia, in which the Swedes hosts and cook excellent steaks from (as they claim) Australian beef. The rest of the menu is also good, the prices are average. The second place is smile bar, about halfway through the beach. Very friendly Thais, lovely food and delicious drinks. It's hard to miss, there's a Thai woman who, with a big smile and gags, invites you. Very atmospheric. Prices are also normal. In both cases, the staff speaks good English and the service is on a par. Apparently that's why there are always a lot of people (mostly foreigners, a lot of French and Swedes)
